Clarkson’s Farm

Reality Show/ TV Show Branding / Motion Design/ Video Editing

Timeline: 5 weeks

Project Type: TV Show Rebrand

Role in the Project: Solo Project

The Show

"Clarkson's Farm" is a British documentary series that combines reality TV, documentary storytelling, and unscripted comedy. The show premiered on Amazon Prime Video and features Jeremy Clarkson, a former car show host known from "Top Gear" and "The Grand Tour," as he embarks on a journey to manage a farm he previously purchased, despite being highly inexperienced in farming. The series captures Clarkson's often humorous and bumbling attempts at agriculture, managing livestock, and dealing with the numerous challenges of running a farm.

The Rebrand

The project is a personal rebrand of "Clarkson's Farm" Season 2, aiming to develop a cohesive and impactful branding package that enhances the show's appeal. The rebrand introduces new visual elements that reflect the series' humorous and energetic tone, focusing on five main components: the title sequence, ending sequence, episode cards, lower thirds, and supers. This approach ensures a consistent and engaging brand identity across all visual touchpoints.

The Motion

The motion design for the branding package video employs key movements such as separating farm-related objects to reveal unexpected structures inside (e.g., a potato cut open to reveal beef), aiming to depict the show's chaotic and playful energy, emphasizing that nothing is as it seems, and reflecting the show's full of surprises nature.
